Heath G. Mynsberge, a firm partner, was admitted to the Wisconsin bar in 2010. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, cum laude and with honors. Matt Parmentier, a firm partner, was admitted to the Wisconsin Bar in 2009 after graduating summa cum laude from the Michigan State University College of Law where he served as an Associate Editor of the Michigan State Law Review. Matt focuses his practice on the areas of municipal law and employment law and serves as municipal attorney to dozens of municipalities and special use districts throughout Wisconsin. Alex focuses his practice on providing clear, practical counsel to Dempsey Law Firm’s municipal clients. He advises municipalities on land use, zoning, development agreements, solar energy projects, and the full range of issues that arise in day-to-day municipal operations. Alex also works closely with municipalities to ensure compliance with Wisconsin’s Open Meetings Law and Public Records Law. He regularly provides trainings on these subjects to municipal boards and staff.
Alex’s practice also includes employment law and civil litigation. Outside the office, Alex enjoys golfing, trying new restaurants with his wife, Kristen, and cheering on Wisconsin sports teams.

Caleb Venzke, a firm associate, was born and raised in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Soon after graduating from Marquette University, he returned north and now resides in the Fox Valley. Caleb competed in track and field while in both college and law school and now serves as an assistant coach at Ripon College working with the Javelin Throwers. Primarily, Caleb focuses his practice on municipal law, civil litigation, business and corporate law, and estate planning.

David Lummis is a native of central Wisconsin, having been born and raised in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. David obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He then obtained his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. David has since returned to central Wisconsin and now resides and practices in Wausau, Wisconsin.
David assists the firm’s clients in several areas of law, focusing much of his time on civil litigation, family, and divorce law. David is a member of the Marathon County Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin, and is admitted to the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.

Evan M. Seibel, was born and raised in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. After attending law school at DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois, Evan returned to his hometown of Fond du Lac to provide competent legal advice to individuals in the community he grew up in. Prior to law school, Evan attended the University of Wisconsin Platteville, graduating with Bachelor of Science degrees in political science and criminal justice.
Attorney Seibel has been admitted to practice law in Illinois, Wisconsin, and the Eastern U.S. District Court for Wisconsin. Evan primarily focuses his legal practice on the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, real estate, and business transactions.

James (Jim) Miller joined the Dempsey Law Firm in December of 2021. Jim brings substantial legal experience in the areas of Appeals, Consumer Protection, and Landlord-Tenant. He was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 2007 after graduating cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School. During his time at the UW Law School, Jim represented clients in state and federal courts in both the Criminal Appeals Project and the nationally recognized Wisconsin Innocence Project. He also interned for the Wisconsin Director of State Courts, authoring a research report on Wisconsin jury reform published on the Wisconsin courts website. Following law school, Attorney Jim Miller served as a judicial law clerk to several judges, including a lengthy stint at the Wisconsin Court of Appeals. Prior to his legal career, in what he jokingly refers to as a former life, Jim served nine years as a firefighter in the U.S. Army Reserve. He is a past President of the Marathon County Bar Association.

Kenya Wilson, a firm associate, was admitted to the Wisconsin State Bar in 2025 after graduating from Marquette University Law School in 2025. Kenya interned for the Firm beginning in 2024 and joined full time after graduation. Kenya focuses her practice on the areas of municipal law, real estate law, and business law. Kenya attended University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh for her undergraduate degree, where she decided the Fox Valley is her forever home. She joined the Wisconsin Army National Guard in 2020, earned her commission in 2022 as a CBRN Officer and continues to serve today as a JAG Officer.

Lee first completed a circuit court judicial clerkship/mediator position.
Then Lee gained a unique experience by serving at the Wisconsin Towns Association from 2007 through 2015, where he traveled throughout Wisconsin to provide presentations on legal education to municipal officials, was a state-registered lobbyist, and heard first-hand about the issues experienced by Wisconsin local governments. The chances are excellent that Lee has either been to your town or at least knows where it is, and that he is already familiar with your kinds of issues.
Since 2016, Lee has been in private legal practice where he continues to work with all manner of municipal entities and issues. Lee acts as legal counsel, prosecutes violations, conducts hearings, and represents clients in civil litigation.

John St. Peter, of counsel to the firm, has been practicing law in Fond du Lac and throughout East Central Wisconsin for more than 50 years. John’s practice emphasizes business, municipal, and employment law.
